Solea Laser

At Sbenati Dentistry, we’re proud to be the first and only clinic to offer you the experience of no needles using the Solea laser.  Solea, the first CO2 dental laser cleared by the FDA for soft and hard tissue dental procedures, was developed in Boston, Massachusetts by Convergent Dental, based on research conducted at the University of California School of Dentistry.

Solea offers a unique wavelength guided by sophisticated computers to deliver virtually painless dental procedures for both teeth and gums, from simple cavities to complex surgeries. The experience is so unique that you will find it hard to believe you were just at a dental appointment. You will be able to eat, drink, and go about your day as you normally would.

What is Laser Dentistry?

A Change for the Happier

Solea Laser DentistrySolea Needle-Free Laser Dentistry

The miracle we’ve both been waiting for, Solea is a dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures in our practice, from cavities to gum surgeries, which takes the typical noise, vibration, numbness and pain out of dental visits. In fact, nearly every patient skips anaesthesia because they just don’t need it. Solea is our way of keeping you happy. Because more than anything, we love to see you smile.

How Does Needle-Free Laser Dentistry Work?

Solea uses light to vaporize tooth structure or soft tissue at such a high frequency, that it overwhelms pain receptors, which prevents pain signals from ever reaching the brain. The result is an analgesic effect that allows the work to be completed with very little sensation.
